negotiator in relation with Moldova, Marta Castello-Branco,
appreciated the economic results reported by Moldova over the first
half a year, the Economics Ministry said in a press release.

hard in a move to improve the business environment, particularly to
ensure the legislative stability, reduce bureaucratic barriers and
fight against corruption.

The communique also reads that Odagiu asked for the IMF support to
reschedule Moldova's foreign debts via the Paris Club, in a move to
continue the economic boost. Odagiu also talked about taxes applied
to the import of raw cane sugar and stressed that they are in line
with the Memorandum signed by the Chisinau government and the IMF.

The IMF mission, led by Marta Castello-Branco, will end on
September 18.
