Cooperation between Moldova and the IMF Cooperation Discussed by President Maia Sandu and Alfred Kammer, Director of the European Department of the IMF

The head of state met with a delegation of the International Monetary Fund led by Alfred Kammer, Director of the European Department of the International Monetary Fund, in Chisinau.

They discussed the regional situation in Moldova, which is complicated but stable. President Maia Sandu stressed that the government's priorities are to maintain peace and stability, overcome the crisis in the energy sector and revive the economy. The head of state spoke of the need to increase business access to cheaper financing, investments needed to strengthen energy security and adapt to climate change.
