PRESS STATEMENT

An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission led by Mrs. Ivanna Vladkova-Hollar will have a working visit to Chişinău during February 23 – 29, 2016.

This is a fact-finding mission to update on recent economic developments and discuss the authorities’ policies to maintain macroeconomic stability and improve governance. The mission does not have the mandate to negotiate a financial assistance program and its outcome will not be discussed at the IMF Executive Board.
