Mr. Ruben Atoyan, IMF's Mission Chief for Moldova, made the following statement: 

“IMF staff is monitoring the situation closely to assess implications of recent developments for the IMF-supported program and the outlook for external financing.

We would like to commend the government led by PM Sandu for taking decisive measures to advance reforms supported the International Monetary Fund.

We stand ready to support the continuation of the reform process in Moldova once a new government is formed.”
