Mr. Rodgers Chawani, IMF Resident Representative in Moldova, issued the following statement: 

“The International Monetary Fund wishes to express its congratulations on this 30th anniversary of the establishment of the National Bank of Moldova. As a partner on this historic journey, we have witnessed the implementation of reforms that have reaped important dividends. These hard-won gains must be preserved and any pressures to derail the consolidation of the progress made must be resisted. After the recovery becomes well-entrenched, we look forward to the National Bank of Moldova transitioning its policies to support the recovery and efforts towards achieving income convergence.”

Dl Rodgers Chawani, reprezentantul permanent al FMI in Moldova, a făcut următoarea declaraţie: 

„Fondul Monetar Internațional felicită Banca Națională a Moldovei cu aniversarea a 30 ani de la înființarea instituției. Pe parcursul anilor, în calitate de parteneri, am asistat la implementarea reformelor, în urma cărora au fost atinse rezultate importante. Succesele obținute cu eforturi mari trebuie păstrate, opunând rezistență oricăror presiuni de a deraia de la traiectoria consolidării progresului atins. După atingerea unei recuperări mai ferme, ne așteptăm ca Banca Națională a Moldovei să treacă de la politicile și eforturile de redresare economică către obiectivul asigurării convergenței veniturilor.”

«Международный валютный фонд поздравляет Национальный банк Молдовы с 30-летним юбилеем. В качестве партнера на этом историческом пути мы были свидетелями проведения реформ, которые принесли важные дивиденды. Эти с трудом завоеванные достижения следует сохранить, и необходимо противостоять любому давлению, которое может препятствовать укреплению достигнутого прогресса. После того, как восстановление станет устойчивым, мы ожидаем, что Национальный банк Молдовы перейдет от политик и усилий, направленных на поддержку восстановления экономики, к политикам по обеспечению конвергенции доходов.»
